Re: Cold cuts

according to the latest not unless you heat them b/c of some kind of bacteria, Can I ask you a When you tested early what made you think to what were your signs... I don't think I am just curious since you knew so early and are obv intune with your body

Re: Cold cuts

I think they advise you to limit your intake of cold cuts b/c of nitrates, not bacteria. They worry about bacteria in soft, non-pastuerized cheeses, which is why you shouldn't eat them.

However - one sandwhich of turkey is not going to harm your baby.

An occasional sandwich isn't going to do you any harm...I had them once in a while.

Re: Cold cuts

Thanks for the replies
Wino-I tested early because it was our 1st month ttc and I know when I ovulate so I thought there could be a chance I was pregnant. My earliest symptom was the hormones! I was so emotional-but different than pms. I remember sitting on the couch with DH watching a Full House Christmas special rerun and crying at the end of it. DH turned to me and was like 'your either pregnant or losing it'. I tested the next day and got my positive

I atuclly eat them very sparingly. I have them maybe once a month. and I only get them from the Deli counter at the supermarket..ALso stay away from imported cheeses.. goto

Re: Cold cuts

I dont eat them every day but I have them. Really the only cold cut I like is turkey breast so I do have a turkey & swiss sandwich at least once a week.
