I've had second thoughts here & there because of thinking about the family I'm marrying into.

My FMIL makes Jane Fonda in 'Monster In Law' look like a faery godmother.

But I love him so much that I'd rather be with him & put up with her on ocassion rather than be without him

Never I am 100% confident that my FH is the one man for me! Although i might have had second thoughts on the actual wedding just because of whats going on in the markets right now.. .my job is not really secure so i'm starting to freak out about finances and paying for everything!

I answered yes.. cause I do get cold feet/ anxiety at least once a week!.. this doesn't concern me though considering I second quess everything I plan or do. It's def about the wedding itself not the marriage (except when he leaves his left over cereal in the sink)

Re: Cold Feet

Only b/c I have panic attacks and that is the first thing that comes to mind lol I am like 'I am not going to get married, I just want to be left alone'. Then I get over it. I only think that way whenever I start to have my monthly chemicaly imbalanced days lol I don't think it has anything to do with me really not wanting to marry him though.

i answered once or twice...as soon as he proposed, it crossed my mind (guess bc i didnt wanna make a mistake) and then another time when we were having some probs, but we worked through it all

Nope Never - Not with him..

Was engaged before called it off - Best thing I ever did - Make sure it is just cold feet and not serious doubts..

Sure I do. I think it's only natural. This is F-O-R-E-V-E-R! If I wasn't a little fearful I'd think there is something wrong with me. This is a huge step. I know I love him and I want to spend the rest of my life with him, but he comes with some baggage that has had me second guess my sanity at times

Marriage is work. You can't just runaway or break up if they piss you off. It's permanent like a tattoo That's scary in itself. Think there is nothing wrong with getting cold feet. It's just up to you how you react to it.

aww! sorry you have a monster in law. my brother has been dating the same girl since dh and i started dating about 7years
everyone keeps asking me if they're going to get married already. i have no clue, but i think he has the same thing you have: a monster. i think its giving him pause.

thank god my mil is a doll. not to mention dh

yes, more than a few times. no real reasons, other than this is the biggest decision and step you will make in your life.. so naturally is nerve wracking and will cause some self doubt.its normal to do this... i think.
