Lysine tablets daily, some Abreva(otc)
or any presribed Zovirax,Denavir or Valtrex.
I get them OFTEN and Valtrex(pill form) has been my savior. The min I feel the tingle I pop one and by next day its almost gone.

i just feel the tinglys but it is annoying- i rarely get them i cant even remember the last time and I DONT like it... thanks![]()

It's a liquid, it comes in a little bottle like eyedrops. It's under $10 at cvs or genovese, but I like it soooo much better than abreva. It NUMBS the sore as it heals, so there's so pain/itchiness whatsoever.
I swear by the stuff!

Believe it or not, I put plain white vinegar on. It burns but it really dries it up within a day or 2.
