Re: College

Suffolk Community College: Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. I was going to pursue becoming a Police Officer after that but then I met FH and everything changed in terms of what kind of job I wanted (something safe, good hours for having kids, etc)... So my priorities changed.

FH (Vinny) went to Muhlenburg College in Pennsylvania and was planning on going to Med School after that. When he got there, after a year of taking Medical classes/science, and having those credits he changed his mind to Business/ Marketing with a focus on International Business. He graduated and then after that he tried to find a job that was right for him (pay, location, etc) and had a very hard time... so about five months ago he went back to CW Post to finish up where he left off with the Medical Route. He realized he was young then and didn't want to have to work as hard at it-- but now he does, and he realizes that he has to put in very little work b/c he is so smart.

So he has been going to CW Post now and will be done (they took his first year of Science class credits) and all he has is one more class and then he's done with his 'equivilent' of a four year Pre Medical degree. At that point (since the pre req classes are the same for both) he will start applying to Medical Schools, Pharmacy Schools and Vet Schools and see which he gets into (His first choice is Vet, second is Pharmacist and third is either a pediatritian or a General Practitioner.

We are very excited!! So I'm just working full time to support his dream-- and then when he fulfills that I can work on mine-- we take it one day at a time and we are SO excited for our future-- the good thing is that time is on our side-- I'm only 22 and he is just 23
