We wanted to paint the shutters on the house to give it a different look once we close and move it - Currently they are black - The house is a light yellow - Its a rance house and the bottom half is brick - Other then black and suggestions??
Well, its not a different look, but I have seen hunter green with that light yellow, and I really like it. I have also seen burgundy, that looks nice too!

Re: Color for shutters
i think the black looks nice. what about white? you could always just change the color of the door.

The burgandy would look nice, it would play off the brick.

Re: Color for shutters
I would go for burgandy.. our house has the bottom brick like that.. with light gray siding and burgandy shutters.. it will help to bring out the brick

Here is a pic of my parents old house thought it might help color wise.
