Color Help Please!!

I am so undecided about what color scheme to do for my Nov. 25th wedding. It's the day after Thanksgiving. I don't know if I should do a fall theme or a winter theme..... What do you girls think?

Also, I LOVE chocolate brown, but my MOH is doing that for her wedding in Sept.

Wine dresses, champagne flowers.

Check out the beautiful bo-k thread for flower ideas, that might help with the colors.

I told my BM's they could carry sunflowers. I bought them each a sunflower before we went to look for dresses. This way we could tell if the color looked good with the flower.

The first thing I would do is check with your hall. I'm getting married the weekend after thanksgiving and my hall is already decorated for Christmas and they said they decorate the day after thanksgiving. If your hall is decorated for the holidays already I would go with the red/ holiday idea. Otherwise go with the fall theme. Is the day after thanksgiving and everyone will still be in the thanksgiving mentality. My sisters friend got married a few years ago in the fall and she had her girls wear red dresses and the flowers were all fall colors of red, yellow, orange etc... The pictures were amazing.

Are you set on pink flowers? I would say chamagne dresses and wine colored flowers. Or the opposite of that.

With champagne dresses I would do black magic roses or a burgundy flower...I love burgundy though, and am not a huge fan of pink for the fall...

I love the fall theme-all those warm colors-browns, wine, oranges,rust colors. But it is true-find out if your hall is already decorated for christmas at that time.

Good point! But I think they'll still be decorated for a fall theme for the day after Thanksgiving. You still have time to pick a color.

Maybe try stopping by the hall this year - on the day after Thanksgiving to see how its decorated. If that's too long for you to wait, maybe try calling your hall and ask them when they start decorating for the holidays.

Thanks for all of your responses... The reason I chose pink flowers is because I love pink and was looking for a way to incorporate it into the day. It doesn't really make sense to do it in the fall though, I know.

My hall does decorate for the holidays before Thanksgiving, but they told me that because I am the only wedding the day after Thanksgiving that there is a possibility they will hold off on decorating if I request it. And, then there is only the Christmas tree (which is on wheels if I want to put it away) and a pine garland down the staircase (which I prefer to the tulle anyway!)! So really, I can go either way..... fall or holiday themed!

Maybe I will do the wine dresses with the fall themed (rust) flowers... I was hoping a dress would just hit me. I really liked a champagne BM dress that I saw, but I am worried they won't stand out enough in the pics.
