Color Printers....

Color Printers....

for those of you gals who use one or have one at the office, which models are good? laser or inkjet?

i think it may actually be cheaper for me to buy a color printer to print my invites and programs to help with the student budget....

please help.... thank you

Lazerjets are really good, but more expensive. You can get an inkjet for alot less and it'll make great invites. Me and FH printed out e-party invites on a lazer and they came out GREAT and QUICK, but its a very expensive machine. I have an HP inkjet at home thats GREAT and not too expensive... it really depends on how much you want to spend, and keep in mind that you will have to buy replacement ink cartridges... theyre all expensive but a lazerjet replacement cartridge is SUPER expensive

hmmm... i read from some techie forum that for color printing inkjets are actually better than color printers b/c they can print at higher resolution... is that true?

i'm so clueless...

I have an HP ink jet and it's the best 3 in 1 printer that I have ever had.

Laserjets are really good, its what we use at my job, their HP something. They're a bit more expensive than the inkjet but for things like labels, pictures, etc the laserjet is by far better.
This is the one we have its black and white but I know theres a color model

I have a regular desk printer..and I printed a sample invitation and it came out great. I have a HP

It's funny that you posted this today as I ordered a Canon PIXMA MP530 all-in-one color inkjet photo printer for the same purpose. According to the reviews it's gotten it should be good. I also wanted/needed the scanner when I get proofs.

Yep. me too. I have an HP 3 in 1 the model is 2175xi...and it works great!

HP's have a good reputation. The main concern I had is that I kept reading is the excessive use of ink cartridges & that replacing them is a bit on the expensive side.
