the pitfall that i fall into is the fact that i love lilies and they are typically pink.. but i dont want to do pink... also the BM's dont want to wear pink..

I think it could still work for you given your time of year... add some champagnes and other shades of gold/beige/taupe to soften it, mix up the saturations, it doesn't all need to be that bright.
BUT, you have to love it, so keep looking if you don't
FH choose it: black and white
Try black dresses for the girls, black is flattering on anyone and you can use any color flowers, shoes, or whatever for a pop... I am doing blue and green but dont like the whole matchy-matchy thing so I am having the girls pick any black dress (which also can be much cheaper than a typical bm dress) and blue flowers and blue shoes
I know you are all against pink.....however my wedding will be pink!! My BM dresses will be fuschia, tuxes will be all black, flowers will be contrasting colors with fuschia, orange, yellow, green. I want tall centerpieces with very tropical flowers. The florist described my vision as a 'citrus wedding.' So thats the theme I'm going with!
I'm doing a peacock theme. Turqouise blue, yellow and green. To get inspiration, I just googled the colors I wanted to have, and went through the images. Weddingwire.com lets you make your own inspiration board, so that's where I compiled all of the images I saved, and made my board. It came out great, and it was so helpful to show my BM what I was planning to do.
im picking diff shades of pink and white :)
i'm really a purple person most of the time so i thought i would want purples. but i've been finding myself drawn to the burgundy and orange colors b/c of what i've seen through the florist and stuff. now to find a BM dress....
I love greeen soo I am prob going to do sage and ivory or celadon and maybe some yellow. No pink or purple for me. I liked the blue too but I really want to stick with the greens. I am even going to try to find green wedding shoes :)
I am obsessed with the color pink.....my fh didnt want everything pink so as a child my fav color growing up was always yellow, and since its a may wedding we went w/ pink and yellow
