I'm troubled about what colors to have. I posted a topic last week about the colors of Bridesmades and mother's, but now I'm just more confused. Originally I chose to have autumnal colors (wine for the bridesmaids and a goldish color for the mothers), but now my mom seems to be changing it every other day to something that she wants...
Anyone have any good ideas on what colors people are using in October?

champagne, Choclate, green, wine, burgundy, yellow (not my favorite) gold, reds, hope this helps..

You can pick whatever you want for your maids! I happen to like chocolate brown for dresses because then you can do whatever colors you want for flowers! My friend did this and all the maids carried a boo-k of one color roses...she did red, yellow, peach...and all looked great against the brown. Remember, they moms do not have to match BP nor do they have to match each other.

We're doing an autumnal color scheme. BM's will be in a shade of brown which I haven't decided on yet (chocolate, mocha, chamapgne) with red, orange, yellow flowers. My mom wants to wear eggplant which doesn't really match but I don't feel that the mom's have to fit into the color scheme. I'm carying out the color scheme more with the BM's and the flowers and table linens.

I'm not sure either, can I get back to you after Nov 8th? That's when I'm ordering my dress and my BM's will pick out theirs. They both like sunflowers so they are going to carry those. Also, for some reason, my bosses wife put a small bowl w/ 1 sunflower floating in it in the office today- it looks really nice, might have that as my CP's.

Our bridesmaid dresses were in mocha (dessy brand) and they carried flowers that were reds,oranges, yellows, all the fall-ish colors. My mom wore an eggplant color and MIL wore a variation of the mocha color--a few shades different. It looked great! I love the fall colors for weddings!

I think the girls gave great suggestions. anything warm, fally would be great. and I agree your mom does not have to match or match FH mom.
My girls are a dogwood pink and ivory.
my mom is wearing a deep beaded evergreen dress.
she will only really be in the pics with me & my MOH/sister. But I think it'll bea nice contrast together.

Mine color scheme theme was Chamapagne. It was ideal for a mid-summer's August wedding. For October would be more orange, brown, or any autumn, Fall colors, etc.
