I booked Pedestals today, and was unsure if I wanted to do an all white bouquet or a color? We ended up writing down a bouquet of all plums and burgundys with some lighter tipped flowers for accents...
I was just wondering what all of you other brides were planning for your bouquets??
Thanks!!!

Re: Colored Bridal Bouquet?
I think it is definitely a matter of personal preference...
I do not like white flowers of any kind...I think they tend to wilt, go brown and don't last as long...I told my florist that I do not want any white at all in my bo-k (except the stephanotis sp??)
It is all about what you prefer!

Re: Colored Bridal Bouquet?
I think all white is gorgeous, my ceremony decorations will be all white roses, but I def. want my bouquet and the BMs bouquets to be colorful. Haven't decide on my colors though...

That's a good point about the white... I am taking pics before my ceremony so I wouldn't want them to bruise / go brown before I walk down the aisle.
Thanks!!!

Re: Colored Bridal Bouquet?
I did not do all white (or any white-haha!)
I just thought my flowers would not stand out against my dress if they were white...
HEre is a pic of my Boo-k.

Re: Colored Bridal Bouquet?
I'm struggling with the same question right now. At first I wanted to do white calla lilies but now that I'm thinking about it, it might be nice to have a colored bouquet so I'm not too white all around. If I do colored, I'm thinking about pink/purple calla lilies.

Re: Colored Bridal Bouquet?
I am using all black magic roses for my bo-k I think that the contrast against the white dress is really nice

Re: Colored Bridal Bouquet?
I'm having bright colors (pinks, lime green, purples), and while I want a different bouquet from my bridal party, I definitely want mine to be in color.

Re: Colored Bridal Bouquet?
I'm doing long stem calla lillies with some burgundy berries (same as berries in the girls bouquets).

Re: Colored Bridal Bouquet?
I wanted my flowers to 'pop' out in pictures. So I went with color. White tends to blend in more and stand out less in photos, so its really just a matter of your taste.
Also I have heard with roses ( if you are having roses) the white ones tend to brown/die more quickly.

Re: Colored Bridal Bouquet?
I am working with Pedestals also
I am not a fan of white flowers even though it looks very elegant...I chose to do an orange BOK for myself...I think the bold colors will really accent my white dress & stand out in my pictures

Re: Colored Bridal Bouquet?
I think white/ivory flowers are stunning, but i didn't want them. I am doing a pink/red theme and I am carrying a combination of roses, calla lillies, dahlias and who knows what else. All with be in shades of red and pink.

Re: Colored Bridal Bouquet?
I'm doing color in mine so that it will pop against my white dress. I want my flowers to show up (contrast) with the dress. For my MOH, her bouquet will be predominantly white (against a dark blue dress).
