ok i finally found my flower girl dress...but not sure if i should have it ordered in purple or ivory! my original plan was ivory with a dark purple sash to match my bridesmaids... but i really like this purple and looks like it will match my bridesmaids pretty closely. but im worried it might be too much color for my bridal party. im also worried that the ivory might be 'yellow' ivory and not 'off-white' is anyone else doing a full color dress for their flowergirl to match the other girls?
aww what a beautiful dress. Can you see the dress in person or get a swatch to see if the purples match? I'd probably do the ivory with a purple sash - but either is beautiful.

My flower girl is actually going to be in a purple dress as well. It looks beautiful on her. I kept debating about it being purple but after she tried it on I knew it was right

My flower girl is wearing a metallic silver dress that has hot pink crinolines underneath it. I am in love with it, and I love the fact that when she lifts the skirt to show everyone her ruffly undies (which she will do all day!) it has the surprise color under it. I think the color just looked nicer then the white with her light coloring in my opinion.

thanks everyone. my fiance likes the purple one - and my mom thinks i should stick with the original plan and go with ivory. tough decisions.
im also starting to think that the materials wont match if i went with purple. my bridesmaids will be in satin - and this dress is tulle. the good news is at least my dress is ivory tulle so she will probably closely match me.

mine are not a perfect match either. turns out the ivory on the flower girls are a bit darker/yellower than my dress i think, but then again, i don't like everything to match.

I dont think they need to be a perfect match but it is hard to tell online. You would know for sure if you could see them in person.
