Colored Linens???

Did anyone use or will be using colored linens at the reception instead of ivory or white?

we are using color....what color i have no idea. my girls are wearing plum and my MOH's (I have 2) are going to be in silver, and I really dont think I want the linens matching my girls.

We have a huge selection as to what colors we want for the napkins and table cloth, and we have some time so as it gets closer to the wedding we'll make a decision

I will be using ivory. The only color I can think of that I would use is wine, but then my BM's might blend in with the table cloth! So I'm going to play it safe!

We are using all cream because I like the crisp look of it. I have been to weddings that used the cream/white table linens but used colored napkins to match the bridemaids and that looked nice too : ).

our reception has light pink walls. We're planning to use white tablecloth with pink napkins. I like how it looked on the pictures from the hall. I also saw pictures with pink or peach tablecloth, but given the pink walls, I found that to look tooo pink.

We had ivory overlays over a pattern that I just loved. I think having a color depends on what your putting on top of it. In the centerpiece thread I started earlier there are tables done many different ways.

There are a lot of choices but unfortunately none really go with the centerpiece colors so I think we are just going to go with the ivory tuxedo stripe.
