colored shoes?

Hello ladies!

I feel like I haven't posted in a while so I wanted to have a little question of the night...

Who is having colored shoes for the wedding? If you are, what colors are you doing? Do you find that your family is having a hard time with it?

I want to have cobalt blue shoes to match my colors but my mom is freaking out!!! She says it will be tacky and silly....I think it would be cute and unique and something I'd love to have in pictures

Who else is doing this???

i like the idea of doing colored shoes! im not 100% sure of colors yet so i dont know what color shoe id pick out. If i didnt do color then i think i would do something with all bling

I want cobalt blue shoes too!! I don't care what everyone else thinks. I love the idea so I'm going to do it as long as I can find a pair that I love!

Im doing colored shoes. My mom doesn't care, she's not at all worried about it because I had brought the shoes when I went to get my dress so she got to see how it looks together and she loves the pop of color.
My shoes are a very lively pink

I had wanted to do colored shoes but also received a lot of negative feedback. I did ultimately find a pair of ivory shoes that I love. Either way, do what makes you the happiest....it is your day, afterall.

No!! Not tacky at all!! I am having cobalt BM dresses and was thinking about doing cobalt shoes as well! Sometimes I find with my mom that she thinks 'old school' and traditional. Doesn't mean she's wrong, but just her opinion. Maybe look up some fun shoes and see if you find a pair you love and take it from there!

haha Yes they're Carries shoes..But only knockoff pair. I couldn't afford the 1200 real ones lol. You gotta do what makes you happy! Colored shoes are nottttt tacky at all. Sexy, Fun and shows personality

I want to wear navy blue shoes! My MOH thought it might look weird, but she went to a wedding recently where the bride wore red shoes, and she said it looked awesome!

I'm wearing purple shoes to match my bridesmaids' dresses! Do whatever you want! Plus, chances are, they might not be seen 100% of the time anyway, so it could be your little secret if people have a problem with it. But really, it's your day - do whatever your heart desires :)

My shoes are magenta (shown in my avatar) My BM's are in purple. I am using magenta/purples in my flowers. Love the pop of color and usually you don't even see them unless you want people to!

I love the idea of colored shoes, my mom had heart failure when I told her, and she begged me not to so I will have either silver or white shoes... boring!
