Hello everybody! Just as the topic says, could anyone give me some advice or opinions on what some early September colors might be? In particular, any advice on blues would be highly appreciated!

I would say nice rich colors, like a chocolate brown, orange, burgandy. You can use a midnight blue, that would be nice. Or a deep purple would look good. You should go to david bridal's website and look at their colors. But you don't want anything too soft for your color in September.

I am doing teal and yellow. You can have whatever colors you want. Its still summer so if you want summer colors go with it. Its your wedding!!!

I'm getting married mid september and am using jewel purple as my color. Like she said above, anything with a rich or jewel feel will go well. Even a darker turquoise would work real well

Hi date twin!! I'm having the same issue as you...it is Sept, but Labor Day weekend whihc is the last weekend of summer....
I'm going on the lighter end...probably a pink...maybe the accent color will be darker...a brown or gold...

You should check out Projectwedding.com you can get inspiration for your color. How about yellows, soft blues, champagne, purple..nice colors for Summer/Fall.

I would say that September still has the feel of summer and it's usually still a comfortable warm temperature so any color palatte that you like would work. If you like blue.. there are so many shades... tiffany blue, navy, royal, light blue (pretty with champagne and or brown). I am a fan of green... not dark, not light or bright.. something in the middle. Bill Levpkoff had one I liked. Or champagne which gives off a warm glow.

My 2 colors i picked were Charcoal Gray as my main.. Then a shade of blue and white...

I love how Navy blue looks with a fresh green and ivory or white as accent.
Or a Green/blue with a light melon color.
I'm not a fan of complimentary colors such as Blue and orange or Purple with yellow because those just remind me of sports teams colors.

I am undecided as well. My choices so far are Celadon(green) or cornflower(blue). I wanted to go with colors that are more geared toward the summer.

I agree! Some people said I had christmas colors for my September wedding but I don't care!

I agree with this! If you like blue...there are so many colors that go with blue. Bright blue/green and Blue/yellow are both really nice. I'm doing cornflower blue and hot pink.
