I have been trying to use colors that are very significant to FH and I... but many of his family are not supportive, saying we'll look patriotic. I really want red and blue, but I don't want to look like a flag. Here are two options I came up with.
1) Navy and medium blue for BM, Navy and light blue for MOH
2) Navy with cranberry for BM, cranberry with navy for MOH
I like the second set of photos. I think it is cute!!

I would go with the other choice, the navy with the lighter blues-this way they dont look patriotic-i dont think its patriotic but whatever

I like the blues much better. The cranberries, although its a cute idea, may look a little odd with the blue. To me, those colors together are more casual and less formal.

I am the oddball and go with set #2. Its pretty and different.
Do what YOU want. people hollered at me saying 'orange and pinK???? AND red??? OMG its so LOUD' and you know what? I almost gave in but am glad I did not because you know what is one of the 'hot' color trends this year?
YEP..Pink and Orange and Pink and lime green(another choice we considered). So def do what YOU like. I don't think it looks patrotic. Its Cranberry, not fire engine red and I do not see any white. And who cares if its patriotic? Nothing wrong with that. What kind of flowers are you considering?

I personally like both looks lol I like the blue with the blue b/c its a beautiful color and it looks great. I also like the cranberry with the blue b/c that color combination is just gorgeous. I think the cranberry looks more rich looking, with the color, and the blue looks very elegant. It's really up to you , either one you choose will be beautiful.

Either set is nice, as long as you don't bring white into the mix, it'll be fine. Some people just can't envision things!

I do not think its look patriotic at all. The cranberry looks more purple then red and there is not any white. I love the second set.

I don't think it matters because your derss is white. Honey if you like it, and your FH likes it, thats ALL that matters. Don't be afraid to be different because then you WILL have regrets.
