Combined appetizer/salad course instead of 2 separate courses

Is anyone doing a combined appetizer/salad course instead of the 2 separate courses before dinner? We are debating doing the combined course. Has anyone been to a wedding that had this before? What did people think? Thanks!

Yes we did this and you save about a half hour for extra dance time! It worked out great!

I think we are going to do this. It gives more time for dancing and having fun.

As a fellow Timber Point bride, I had thought of that as well. We didn't make any decisions as of yet, but I am definitely going to consider it.

that is what we are going to do so there is not so much getting up and down or missing a course while the guests are dancing.
