My parents so graciously gave me 2 weeks of their timeshare for my honeymoon. We decided to go to hawaii, but my dad said its really hard to get a reservation there because its in such high demand. Well, I put in the request yesterday and they said I should know within 30 days. Ugh!!! The suspense is killing me. Please keep your fingers and toes crossed for me!!

We are also using a timeshare for Hawaii given to us as a wedding present form FH's brother. It really saved us a lot of money Good Luck!!!!!

OMG! My parents are doing the same thing for us, exchanging their time share for our honeymoon on Maui. We too have to wait and its killing me!!
BTW: Which time share and which resorts? We put in for both the Marriott Maui Ocean Club and the Westin Kaanapalli Resort.

Oh sweetie- good luck but just be aware that its very risky.
we own a timeshare in aruba- engagement gifl from in-laws and we dindt want to on our usual week in nov...but rather in feb and we couldnt get the week we wanted.
so we planned the wedding around that week and will be leaving for aruba the day after....I hope it works for you though.
