come on, snow delay/day!

All of these Suffolk districts have already posted delayed openings. . .when is Nassau County going to follow suit???

I don't know; even if we have a delay, I'm considering taking my own snow day. The roads from Islip to Oceanside are going to be a nightmare. What would you do?

. . .okay, now I see Great Neck. When are the SOUTH SHORE school districts going to follow suit? The roads haven't been TOUCHED near me south of Montauk!!!

I'd give yourself a SNOW DAY!

I'm about to venture out....3 and a half hours before I am due in....My hour drive can turn into a 3 hour drive!

I'm seriously, seriously considering it. Thinking about how I got into a fender bender a week ago when my car slipped on an icy patch a few blocks from the school I'm supposed to be at today. . .yeaaaaah. . .snow day much?

My school district NEVER closes. In the 5 years I have been there they have never once closed. I am getting so tired of this. Bla

Just decided to make my own snow day. . .I am not even going to TRY to make it out to Oceanside in this when the roads aren't plowed.

Would you have called in???

Well..it took an hour and a half! I swear, they were plowing the east side of the LIE more than the west bound side!

I definitely would have called in if I didn't have a tax deadline this Friday and Monday!
