Come see my save the dates!!

Ladies, I am so excited as I just received my proof yesterday from Magnet Queen. She actually sent me 3 proofs with slight differences. From what I gather from my friends and parents, this one is the best. I agree too.

Do you girls like it? I wanted to do the childhood pics b/c it is something very different.

I have to say Magnet Queen has been nothing but helpful and they are great to work with (very quick response time).

I like the colors and the pictures of you two when you were young. Personally, I'm not so fond of the phrase 'I can't believe he finally asked' on a STD for a couple of reasons (one is that you're both sending out the STD and it says ***I*** can't believe, and the other is because it sounds like he waited 10 years to ask - but hey, maybe he did!) I would probably take that out - not meant as an offense, JMO.

Thanks for the info. I am not offended at all. I actually thought of taking it out too but then my gf said she liked it. I did not give Magnet Queen the final on designing them so I can still take it out.

Well, it certainly felt like 10 years!! We've known each other since we were 18. We dated and then broke up and ended up getting back together in 2000. We're now 32 so I do feel like it took forever. Thanks for your input. I appreciate it.

That IS a long time. Like I said, I really like the STD, just not that phrase.

If you want to keep that notion in there, would you consider changing it to 'He finally asked and she said yes!' that way the same sentiment is there but not that particular phrase.

i think your std is adorable and love the fact you put the whole family on it!

Hey, can I ask when you booked your date at Jericho Terrace? When we were looking, JT was one of our top choices but they didn't have either of the October dates we wanted so they were offering us September 28th! We could have been date twins! We would have been in the Oak Room if we booked JT.

We booked our date in June 2006. They told me that they had the Skylight room still open that night and that's why we chose it. I loved the dome room but it was already taken for that night and we could not guarantee 200 people. That's too bad that you didn't book that day. That would've been great to have a date twin at the same hall.

You're welcome, but I didn't resize it. Once you've got a pic in an album you simply right-click on it and a menu will appear, scroll to the bottom and select Properties. Then copy the URL address. When you're writing a new topic (or responding) click on 'Insert Web Image' (under the smilies) and paste the URL address in there.

I decided to change the slogan to 'He asked... She said yes...

I think it fits better than the previous slogan.

that is very different. i have seen where you can do the child pics.. but not combined with the aduly pic.

i like it very nice choice!

You're welcome, but I didn't resize it. Once you've got a pic in an album you simply right-click on it and a menu will appear, scroll to the bottom and select Properties. Then copy the URL address. When you're writing a new topic (or responding) click on 'Insert Web Image' (under the smilies) and paste the URL address in there.
