I'm so excited! I just got my wedding band! It matches my e-ring perfectly (both are from blue nile). Plus, I found jewelry to wear with my wedding gown. There's kind of a sentimental story behind it. My mother passed away 2 years ago and both of my grandmothers also passed away within the past few years. My dad had given me all of my mother's jewelry, but I haven't been able to bring myself to wear any of it yet. But I was going through it the other day, and I found 2 identical pearl necklaces, even the clasps are the same. Turns out each of my grandmothers had the same necklace and they both had given them to my mother when they got older. So since I don't know which necklace belonged to which grandmother, whichever one I wear will make me think of my mother and both grandmothers on my wedding day.

Why don't you wear both pearl necklaces. Just gently twist them together. Or have one of the necklaces restrung into a multistrand bracelet ?
I wear my mom's wedding band and a sapphire ring on my right hand every day. I put them on the day of her funeral and haven't gone a day without wearing at least one of them. On my wedding day I will pin the wedding band on the inside of my dress, since I will be wearing my ering on the right hand.
