Can anyone recommend dressy black sandals that are not outrageously priced, mid-sized heel and are COMFORTABLE.

I just went on the Chinese Laundry website to see if I could find my shoes - the closest I found was this one - exact same shoe but no ankle strap - they are SO comfortable - you wouldn't think so by the way they look and my feet usually hurt me in heels - but they are so great!!

Michal, they look great (just what I was looking for), but I'm a total klutz in heels & 3 inches may be a bit steep for me. Are they really comfortable?

That's so funny - I was going to recommend Chinese Laundry too! They're the only brand of dress shoes that don't rip my feet to shreds!

Nina shoes are supposed to be comfy. I think they have a line called Nina comfort. They satin shoes and sandals.

Soooo true!!! Me & a girlfriend swaped a pair of black dress sandals for YEARS until we just couldn't hide how beat up & out of style they were anymore!!

Thanks for posting the shoes, Ann! Cindy - I wouldn't lie to ya, babe!! Very comfy!! Have had them about 3 years now and wear them with EVERYTHING - I don't know if they still make the one that I have (without the strap). Good luck!
