Comfortable Strapless Bras?

Hi Girls...

Is there such a thing? I am going to have to start looking for a strapless bra for my wedding and I would love something comfortable. Anyone have any ideas where to go in general and anyone find something semi-OK to wear all day?

Thanks!
Stacey

Re: Comfortable Strapless Bras?

It depends on your shape?

I am a 36D and have never found a strapless bra or even longline bra that worked no less was comfortable.

Im buying the Fredericks Dream Corset for my gown undergarments and it works beautifully on whittling the waist and keeping the girls up.

Sonicstef

I am a 36D too, and always have so much trouble finding a good comfortable bra that keeps everything in place.

Are you ordering from fedricks online or at a store? And where is there a store in our area? I will need to go and check out this bra.

thanks
Kimberly

ps how much is it? Im assuming probably like $100

Re: Sonicstef

You can order on-line, www.fredericks.com and there is a store in Sunrise and Broadway malls. I think I may go to the actual store to try one on since I don't feel comfortable ordering on-line as strapless never feel comfortable anyway.

Re: Sonicstef

I am also a 36D, and nothing is ever comfortable.. i bought the dream corsette(if thats he one i am thinking it is, its got like tank straps and has the lace up back) from Fredericks and its really nice but when i went for my fitting you could see the bone in the bra through the dress, so that was out.. but i had to get a bra for another wedding where i was the BM and i went to Miriams corsettes in East meadow, and the sales lady was really really nice, and it wasnt an ugly one eaither , and they offer free alterations to help you get a better fit...she picked out one for me that fit like a dream.. it stays up with out the alterations and was very comfortable, and it was a full from the breast to the pelvic,or lower stomach, and it was only 35.00

Re: Comfortable Strapless Bras?

FYI girls: The Renaissance corset has the tank straps, the dream corset is the strapless one. Not the other way around.www.fredericks.com

Re: Comfortable Strapless Bras?

I tried the ultimate corset on too (with cups) and it didn't do much - sort of a shelf effect.

I actually tried on the dream corset in the store but ordered online since they didn't have the right size in stock - but I would suggest trying on before buying.

Re: Comfortable Strapless Bras?

By the way, I used a coupon code (SAVENOW) and saved 20% so it was a few dollars cheaper this way than buying directly from the store.

Re: Thanks for the tip, Stef...

i am having the bra (cups) sewn into my dress. I hate bras everyday, nevermind on my wedding day! the last thing i want is to be uncomfortable and that can be the worst!

Re: Comfortable Strapless Bras?

My mom went to Marys Corssetier in Woodbury. We had to wait a long time but they fitted her with a long line strappless and made immediate alterations.

Re: Comfortable Strapless Bras?

Count me in as another 36D too. I looked into a couple of manufacturers and found that the brand Carnival makes some nice strapless longline bras. I ordered one a week ago, but I haven't gotten it yet.

I will try Frederick's as well.

I also heard good things about Blums.
