comfortable wedding shoes - flats or heels?

I am undecided as to whether I should wear flats or heels to my wedding. I am 5'9' and my fiance is 6'5', but I am afraid heels are going to rip my feet apart. I really like the Badgley M. 'Lacie' shoe, but with it having a 3 inch heel I'm afraid that might kill me too.

Any advice?

I have NO choice, but to wear heels through ceremony and reception. I'm 5'2' and FH is 6'5'... I look like his kid when I have flat shoes on...LOL

Honestly, it might sound a little weird, but FH is maybe an inch shorter than me, so heels are out of the question...I thought of flats, but I wear them every day for work (the idea isn't thrown out though), but I was thinking of wearing comfortable shoes. adidas shell tops makes all white shoes and I was thinking of adding crystals to the 3 stripes on each shoe for some added bling. Sounds weird but super comfortable and all!
