Re: COMMACK WEDDING CENTER

its hard to read if you type in all caps!!!!!!

as for the attire part - evey place you go to you are going to hear mixed reviews. i didnt have a pleasent exp. there, but there are girls that went to the salon that i went to that didnt have a good experience. go with how you felt when you were there. as for the photography, etc. i dont have a clue. good luck!

Re: COMMACK WEDDING CENTER

I went to a bridal expo at the Marriott inIslandia where they did a presentation and a small fashion show. I know that this may be biased because that's all I know about them, but I got the impression that they are very careless with their merchandise. The runway dresses were all wrinkled, ugly and didn't even fit the girls. One of girls actually had a huge security tag on the front of it. The owner who was hostessing the girls made a joke of it, but I say if your runway dresses look like that, I wonder what the real dresses look like. Not to mention the owner of the store was a major 'salesman' type that sounded like you couldn't trust him as far as you could throw him. So that's my opinion if you've had a wonderful experience that's great, but I wouldn't recommend them off hand.
P.S. Did I mention that the owner (it's a family owned store.... all nieces, nephews, etc. work there) he offered to rent out his grandchildren as ring bearers and flower girls... awfully odd....

He did the exact same thing at one of the shows I went to also! Offered to rent out his grandchildren ( he said it so many times we werent sure if he was joking anymore) and ALL the girls dresses had the security tags still on it

Re: COMMACK WEDDING CENTER

My sister used the Wedding Center for the whole package in March. The photgrapher was Eric. He was very fun as a photogrpaher. The pics were mostly traditional shots, not that many photojournalistic, but that is what my sister wanted. Just be aware that the price you see for the package is usually lower than you are going to spend. My sister had to upgrade almost everything and spent a lot more than she expected to spend. I ordered my BM dresses and wedding gown there. The price couldnt be beat. Helene is awesome to deal with but the other ladies aren't that friendly. I got the dresses altered elsewhere though because for my sisters wedding all the alterations were done wrong.

Re: COMMACK WEDDING CENTER

I used them, also with Eric, and loved them. Video was great, too.

I did not get dresses there.

Re: COMMACK WEDDING CENTER

I don't think you can beat the price from what I hear. The place is just a bit shady... and so true, we couldn't tell if he was joking about renting out his grandchildren either. Unfortunately, I think he was dead serious! Ha!
