We went this past wkend to look at BM dresses and I was so impressed. They were so helpful - they pulled anything I was thinking about and knew their inventory so well. They said they would match or beat any competitor price. IMO for BM dresses I would def choose them over RK Bridal...so much more helpful!
I've heard bad things about them... and the one time I went there, I wasn't impressed with the server we received.
I got my dress there. Cheapest price I found. I had no problems, but didn't get the alterations done there. I heard very bad things about their alterations.

Despite many bad reviews of Commack Wedding Center, my experience with them has also been good so far. We didn't buy my gown there, but all 9 of my BM's bought their dresses there. They came in in less time than anticipated. My MOH picked hers up last week and said everything went well. All the girls are going to private seamstresses to get them altered. I think that for the discounted prices you get its well worth it there!
JUST DO NOT GET THEM ALTERED THERE!!!

I had a bad experience with them too. We went to try bm dresses and the girls basically had to get the dresses themselves. It was as if we were bothering them. I was VERY upset about the whole experience. If your looking to save money try phyllis from gownfind or Burton's bridal.
The only other experience I had looking for BM dresses was RK Bridal. Its total chaos there and there is absolutely no assistance with finding things. (Don't get me wrong - I think RK is awesome for bridal gowns and very helpful in that department) The reason I started this post was b/c I was so surprised at how helpful everyone was at Commack - they pulled any dress I was even thinking of using and then when I wanted to see a certain color of that designer they would go pull a dress in that color so I could see it on (and not just in a small swatch)...I was just so suprised at how patient they were w/ me. I was not planning on having the dresses altered by them but would definitely suggest going there if you want help w/ picking out a BM dress.
In my opinion 90% of wedding places are rude because to them you are just a sale. I have heard horror stories about so many bridal shops. Then you always find someone who says something good. Point is when you are planning a wedding you are basically relying on other people to ensure your day is perfect....scary. I am getting my BM dresses there and I have heard both good and bad stories. The dresses there were $60 cheaper and that was a plus in my book. I am however, having the dresses altered elsewhere.
