commack wedding center

Hey, I'm new!! Nice to meet you all! I was just wondering if anyone has dealt with the Commack wedding center?? Or VarietyMusic??? Laurie Ps. how do you respond to posts!!!??

Our experience

We went to a bridal expo, where we were engaged by the owner of the Commack Wedding Center. We politely listened, and were told about their DJ, Variety. We weren`t really interested in the CWC`s services, but when we made our way down the line of booths, we found Variety. Since we were primarily there to find DJs and a couple of other things, we stopped at the Variety booth. We met Harry, who seemed like a lot of fun. Through talking with him, we found by booking them through CWC, we`d be getting a very minimal package, and it would be better booking them on our own for a package that was more of what we were looking for. At that point, we scheduled an appointment to meet with them at a later date for a more structured discussion. We liked what we heard and what we saw of their video at our appointment, and we had really liked Harry`s personality when we talked with him at the expo. If we had chosen to go with them, we would have booked Harry. But, ultimately, I guess we were worried about not having a direct contact with our DJ. And Harry would have been the MC anyway, not the DJ. Either way, the bookings are handled through their office, and we just didn`t feel there would be enough direct contact with the DJ/MC. Their price was fair, the cheapest of the three DJs we looked at. And we did like them, we just felt more comfortable going elsewhere, and ended up booking Parameters instead, who we found at that very same expo. We were more than satisfied with the job Eddie did for us at our September wedding.

hopefully you can still scroll down and see. Many people have written that they have had good experiences with them, while I have had a not so great exerience. I did not choose to go with them.
