Anyone have any experiences with Lillettes in Baldwin? So far I think I've only heard good things and I'm planning to take my MOH there to shop for the BM gowns. Does anyone know if they let you photograph yourself in the wedding gowns you try on?

i have nothing but good things to say about lillettes and i LOVE geri! she is the best. i didn't take any pictures, but i think they would let you because i've seen other girls post pics from there. i wish i had gone to lillettes first. geri knew exactly what would look good on me and helped me find the perfect dress. she spent hours with me and i didn't once feel rushed.

I got my dress there! And I got a dress there for my prom and my Brothers wedding, Had a great!!! expreience both times! In fact, when my brother was married I was at college, I came home 2 days before teh wedding, went to my last fitting the day before the wedding and the dress didnt fit! Not their fault, I had lost 10 lbs in 2 months at school. The did all the re-fits right there and the dress was perfect and gorgeous!!!

They do not let you take pics there until you have put money down on the dress - they are VERY adamant about it! I tried on dresses there but I decided not to purchase it there because they wont take credit cards - which I think is ridiculous! a) I want the miles! b) A credit card is protection for you - g-d forbid anything happens with the dress
Bridal reflections in Massapequa beat their price - so I got it there!

They are OK and that is it
1. do not put any money on anything until you are sure - they do not refund
2. do not let them talk you into a gown that needs to be custom ordered that is an addl $250 just for custom measurements - your bust, waist, and hips
3. do not purchase the veil, blusher, or tiara there - they are hugely overpriced
and yes you can take a pic only after you are an offical paying customer
i just had to get rid of them last month...too long to get into
ps - take your time and visit several shops also make sure your receipt spells out the mfr name, style # and price for anything you purchase!!!

The sales lady was so nice there! She helped with so many dresses! I feel guilty that I did not buy with her.

I went there for BM dresses and have had a great experience so far. They by far had the best prices cause I shopped and shopped around and the sales ladies were great. Very patient. We had not a problem when we took several pics of the different BM dresses.

My friend bought her wedding dress their and had no problems. I went once with her and they were very nice and gave all their attention to her and what she wanted!!
