Common Sense, People!!

To all those who credit the Bush administration with better mortgage rates, etc.

It's common economic sense that when the economy is struggling, the interest rates be lowered to help stimulate spending.

Thank the struggling economy for getting into your homes, not the Bush administration.

And if you must thank someone for the lowered interest rates, thank Alan Greenspan.

Raising interest rates when the economy is having a hard time would be totally distructive.

Again... frankly as long as it doesn't affect my pocketbook directly... I don't care how bad the economy is struggling.

Even my mutual funds have rebounded since 9/11 during the Bush Administration... back to the 10k level.

This is true but then the same holds true for placing blame on a sitting president for being attacked (for 9-11) - we have been getting attacked for 25 yrs by Islamic extremists and the terror policy that preceded Bush's presidency was terrible - leading up to the most horrific attack on our soil. Do you know we had Osama Bin Laden in 1998 and let him go!!

Fund and such are re-bounding but the devestation that followed 9-11 means that it HAS to go up , as if couldnt get worse....

Do you know Bin Laden was an ally of us in the 80's? And we know what kind of person he was then that we do now.

That is or in this case... WAS no guarantee. They could have stayed in the 8000 range for years.

Yes I have heard that he was an 'ally' in the 80s- my point is that all presidencies affect what is going to happen in the next presidency. The war on terror has been building for quite some time. I think that National Security should be at the forefront of our govt policy from now on.

It just boggles my mind that we let him go in 1998 and 3 yrs later he attacked us.

does not boggle my mind. I am glad I got the opportunity to serve this country and learn from the inside out how it operates. We have allies with so many people..known and unknown..and they are not all the come here give me a hug type either. Sometimes when one tries to exploit kharma is a beotch.

ok ......as anyone who is in the money business they WILL tell you they have not lost money.....the market goes up and down ....if you take a risk then you have a chance of loosing it too........even though i DONT like bush.THE MARKET did not go up or down because of him

DJ PIll is the only one who is willing to say exactly how he feels, believe me I am all for helping others, I do Habitat for Humanity I send care packages to a number of men overseas not just my man, I did the walk for breast cancer, I care about people

but when it comes down to it, my family is all that REALLY matters, sorry if you find that cruel and unusual, I think most people feel this way but are too 'politically correct' to say it and god forbid have someone on a forum think they are mean.
