i just moved to nj (from long island) and work in manhattan --my commute is now 1.5 hours --totally stinks!

No traffic 45 minutes, with traffic 1 hour. FI and I commute together so it's not too bad.
I used to live in WB and commute to NHP-sometimes that traffic on the Southern was a bear!

A little over an hour door to door from Williston Park to Manhattan. It will be a little less than 1.5 hours when we move to Lindenhurst.

Right now on a good day - 20 minutes from Franklin Square to Jamaica (but it could take up to 40) - when we move to Levittown it'll probably double.

I live in Setauket. My commute is 2 hours on the way in and 2.25 hours on the way home.

For me its about 20 minutes from Bay Shore. From my new house in Blue Point, its FIVE MINUTES!!!
For Michael, he's not as lucky. He commutes to Manhattan. Its about an hour. From our new house, about hour and a half.

Mine is 45 mins-1 hour normally. I live in Centereach and commute to Bethpage.

From Franklin Square to Hauppauge - 45 minutes without traffic (rare) and over an hour wth traffic.
When I move to my new place 18 minutes without traffic! Woohooo!

1 hour from Putnam County to the Bronx, by car. But there's virtually no traffic.

Me 1.25 hrs each way..Bethpage to Midtown. I also have an office downtown that I go to a few times a month then it's 1.5 hrs each way. My DH just got a job in Lake Success and he has a 20 min commute. How jealous am I?
