I had a whole fantastic night planned out, but because a lot of people bailed at the last minute things got changed around. which is fine, I just wanted to make sure the bride to be got what she was so hoping for.
Just so all of you know... NEVER EVER EVER use All Island Taxi as a means to travel... THEY SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!! I have never been so mad at a company in my entire life...
I originally called on friday to get a quote of what it would be round trip from garden city to manhattan for 10 people. he quoted me $145 +tolls and gratuity... ok perfect! Door to door service for less than a train ticket! I spoke with them again sat morn around 11:30 before the shower to confirm a ROUND TRIP reservation picking us up at 9:30 that night...
then during the shower i knew people were starting to bail, so at 6:00 when i got home I called then again to let then know we were a smallere group and didnt require the large van. I stated we would only be 5 people going in, and didnt want to pay for a ROUND TRIP for $145++. too much money. He said he would accomodate me any way i needed and he would still be able to offer the transportation of the larger van at $115++... ok fine. he said he needed the address of where we were going to be dropped off AND picked up that night. Then he said his phone was ringing and he had to get it so he would call me back... he never called me back, next thing I know its 9:20 and the van is outside my house.. ok great he is on time we are ready to rolll..... what a surprise we ahd in store.
Ok you have a group of 7 girls you know are on a bach party, he was a nice guy, the first thing he said to us was 'ok you girls like to party who wants to smoke up?!' (PS my best friend is a FEDERAL Police Officer!!) we politely decline because at this point we are already in the van, no point in making a big deal....
he then says Ill give you something to really liven your night up... he pulls out a photo album, we open it.... and its porno pics of HIM AND HIS GF!!!! Ive seen some dirty stuff in my life... this was the most DISGUSTING THING I HAVE EVER!!!!! seen in my life... he junk was hanging out and it was just completely and totally innnapropriate!!!!
(im getting sooooo mad right now just retyoing this!!! so sorry for the spelling errors!!) so we get into the city and he drops us off at the restaurant. He gets tells me its $145++. I said no its $115 ++.. so he gets on the CB with HQ and asks no joke about 10 times for the guy to say over the radio what the price was the he quoted us... the guy at HQ proceeds to say ' stop harrasing me you prick I told you what the F*in price was before you picked those broads up!![]()

so we pay the guy because he said we had to pay on the trip in. and he said take my number for when you want tp be picked up later.. ok sure. something wasnt feeling right to me so i double checked and said that amount was for ONE WAY!!! what![]()

I get on the phone with HQ and speak with this d-bag, I told him it was NEVER said to me that it was going to cost me $300+ to take Cab into manhattan. He said that is the price anywhere deal with it... I said you were wrong, every time i spoke with you, it was always based on round trip... that was half the reason we did it like this, to make sure we had a ride home!!!![]()

so to get home we had to take a train, the stop that I live near didnt have another train till 4:30am![]()
so we took another line, got off the wrong stop and had to wait in the abandoned train station until another d-bag cab company could come pick us up... i didnt get home till 3:30 am... and had to be at work at 9!!!!![]()
please ladies, soooo sorry this is long but promise you will NEVER USE ALL ISLAND TRANSPORTATION EVER!!!! they suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!
**So I have been playing phone tag with the lady from customer services for the past two days, I spoke with her on Monday afternoon and she said that she was appauled at the mention of how her company acted... she said she was going to 'investigate' and get back to me later on in the day... its Wed and I have not heard back from her yet!![]()
