Mom is depending on me - but I need her help on this one! I don't know where people live from the family...how can I 'get the ball rolling' with her?
I've asked her so many times and nothing gets done (ie: pen to paper)

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. I JUST TOLD HER LISTEN GIVE ME YOUR SIDE OF THE LIST AND I SAID THE SAME THING TO MY INLAWS. I GAVE THEM A TIME PERIOD AND TOLD THEM IF IT WAS NOT DONE BY THEN I WOULD DO THE INVITING MYSELF AND THEN PEOPLE COULD BE LEFT OUT. IT SOUNDS HARSH BUT IT WORKED

I just sat down with my mom over the phone (FH and I live OOT), and did all the typing. She read me the names and addresses, and I added them to the spreadsheet I created. This way she didn't have to take the time to rewrite her addresses, and I got the info I needed when I needed it!

Some families don't understand why you need the info so soon. Tell them that you are spending a lot of $$ on Save The Dates and need the info to mail them out. I thought I was doing Save the Dates and that helped us to get the list together early!!!
