I think I posted before about how our air was broken in the living room...... still not working. FH called the complex today and they called him back and left a message saying they would come and look at it tomorrow.... again. Morons.
So, we're stuck in the bedroom.... about 40 minutes ago this horrid noise comes from the air conditioner, and FH turned it off, and it started leaking water. We called the emergency service, and are waiting for them to call us back.
It is so effing hot it's ridiculous. I am so mad, I think they should take money off of our rent for this inconvenience!!!

yeah run to cvs or something like Lisa suggested and buy a fan in the meantime, anything to help...Even in the house put a cold towel on your face for some relief. Hope it gets fixed soon

So, the maintenance guy who lives behind us just called, and said that it was frozen?!?! Weird. He said to try it again and it should be fine. FH just pulled the filter out, and it is gross!!!! Hopefully, the air will work now though!!!

Def. clean the filter. After my fh cleaned my filter, the air conditioner worked so much better. I hope it gets fixed.

yeah sometimes that happeneds when you have it running for a long time. ANd always clean out the fliter. it gets cooler faster if it's clean. Sorry you had to go throught that. Su*ks!

Thanks girls! They are coming today to replace the air conditioner in the living room, finally. The one in the bedroom is now working, and it's much better after FH cleaned out the filter.
My crazy neighbor caught my ear this morning, and told me that she had hers replaced, but, they took it out and left a giant hole in the wall for 2 days!!! If they try and pull that sh*t here, we're going to a hotel until it's fixed and sending them the bill!
