Completely Overwhelmed!!!

Completely Overwhelmed!!!

So We booked our hall and everything LAST march (07) and the photographer, church, rings, - and we still have the dj, florist, limos etc.

I'm just so tired of it all, I have been looking at stuff forever and have really bought anything because it's been sooo long. I lost my mo jo for wedding plans...I'm just so overwhelmed with everything, FH is exhausting, I can't keep up at work, I try to look at all this wedding stuff but I'm just uhhh I could cry right now. Did anyone else feel like this at one point? I don't know if I made the right decision having the 'big' wedding, I think I would have wanted an intimate wedding at have bought a house. It's been 8 years and FH and I have still not lived together...it put's so much stress on the relationship. Alright my vent is done, but just in case I'm not on for a little while I just needed a break from thinking.

aww i'm sure it will pass......and just make sure you have your 'dream' wedding but still have enough to live comfortably afterwards....at the end of it all the wedding is just 1 day and you have to plan for the future.

I know how you feel! It gets very stressful. I just recently graduated and I am still in the process of getting my career on track. I have a leave replacement position for teaching but nothing permanent yet. Sometimes, I don't think I have enough time to save or to do the things I really need to do! It's just so much. FH is really stressed at work, too. I keep trying to tell myself that it will all work out in the end and that the wedding planning is supposed to be enjoyable! I hope you feel better soon! It will all be worth it!

I feel it all the time. I feel constant pressure to get things going, but I really have been taking my time. I have nothing booked but the church.

I guess I dont have any wedding mojo-at all!!!

I hear ya girl! Just take a break then you still have time. My FH is totally exhausting too. Right now we're in Florida and I want to move back to Long Island we are having major issues too. I hope it all works out for you though. Just remember this is all supposed to be the most exciting time of your life and when the big day comes and you can look back on those beautiful pictures it will all have been worth it. So take a few deep breathes.

awww it will pass.... i think we all go threw this. I was telling my MOH a few days ago that i'm just tired of everything. EVERDAY i'm looking at wedding stuff... calling places, going on the internet. it will pass and u will be excited again.

I absolutely know how you feel. I was extremely stressed out- I was breaking out like crazy and was so consumed with the wedding planning. I broke out of it by doing everything in one weekend. Now, all my vendors are booked and I can relax.

I feel the same way. It's a lot of decisions and a lot of expensives and I've been very overwhelmed.... It's very stressful and I'm wondering whether or not a big wedding is the way to go.

Thank goodness I'm not alone!!!

Your words were very comforting...I have been doing everything myself because no one wants to help me because 'there is still so much time'
and then 2 days ago FH says I think we should really book the florist, limos and DJ...I was like WHAT!!! He doesn't want to look at anything and now all of a sudden he's ready so lets just hurry up and get it done. He exhausts me, I love him but gosh he is exhausting.

I think I'm going to take a break for a little while of looking at wedding stuff everyday...May will be the 1 year mark and then I can finally start getting things done...thanks ladies! as always your very much loved

And look at how many people get what they want and plan their wedding in a year or less. Im glad to hear your a little calmer.

It's going to pass I think we all get a little bit BLAH at times about things.. you are just feeling overwhelemed!

it is a phase. i went through it. i had to take a break for like 2 months last year. what makes it worse is that we were originally getting married this April but had to push it back. now we r getting married next April!!!! i am def taking a break!

oh and fh have been together for 7 years and not living together either it'll pass. chill out for a while...u've got time on ur side!

Awww i felt that way too. I actually stopped all wedding planning for about 5 months because I was just so exhausted from everything else in my life. But when my year mark came around I just picked back up and started researching vendors again. Now i'm almost done. Actually, taking a break and then doing everything within 2 months wasn't bad at all. Now i feel a lot less overwhelmed now that i have most of my vendors.
