Compliment, for sure! I get that ALL the time and some of the teachers in the building that don't know me too well stop me for a pass! lol We'll be happy as we age and want to be younger....we'll always have that advantage!

I know how you feel. I get that all the time. I am only 5'2'. Sometimes I take it as a compliment and sometimes I get offended....I guess it depends on my mood!

I get the same thing all the time. And then the person who says it always follows it with 'you'll appreciate it when you're older'. Ugh! I'm not older, but I'm not a baby. Stop IDing me for drinks!

Re: compliment? or not?
I think I get it once a week haha....or at least it feels that way!!
I am almost 23 but only 5 feet maybe 5'1' on a good day....so I think that has to do with it. And I hate it that my 2 younger sisters look older than me and are taller than me. I got IDed once at the movies when I actually had to buy the tickets for my younger sister for an R movie bec she wasn't 17 yet but they let her walk right in haha
but i was also observing at a school for one of my courses and it was sad i was walking in the hall next to the 4th graders who were walking in line and the teacher yelled at me to get back in line and then realized she was wrong and said omg i am so sorry you look so young lol but then i told her my age and she said i would appreciate it when i am older
but sometimes i just want to get that i look my age or older than 17 yrs old
