Is there anything so far that you have come across in your wedding planning especially with vendors that you wanted to have sooooo bad but had to/think you will have to do without because of budget concerns?
If so do you think you are going to regret it?

nothing having to do with vendors or budgets but i had to give in to having kids at the wedding. i REALLY did not want children at the wedding but FH did. so i gave in to that, but i'll use it later when there is something i want that he doesnt.

Well it wasn't really a budget thing but My parents really wanted a band and I wanted a DJ. The DJ was less $$$ and I didn't want to hear them B**ch about the cost of the band. But in the end we got the band.

yeahhhhhhhh...my whole wedding in general ! i cannot sleep at night thinking that i made the wrong decison....but i guess for the next 528 days you girls we have to reassure me that everything will be ok

well it wasnt MY compromise BUT FH wanted a band - and i refused to give in bc there was just too much of a price difference, i also happen to like DJs better. . .
i didnt get the photo screen but NOW i AM regretting it and i am going to pay the extra for it

I really want a band but they are so pricey!! That seems to be the trend here!!! These bands are going to have to start being a little competitive if they want business!

There's something that I stumbled across during my hunt for vendors and it's coming down to a matter of price. We can't come to a decision on it and so not to cause more stress during the holiday season we decided to put off booking anything else until the new year. This way we'll have a better grasp of our financial situation, know whether or not there will be overtime and how much of it and what the increase is going to be.
It's a weight off our shoulders for now but I know the decision is going to have to be made at some point.

We had to book a Friday night instead of a Saturday night to have it at the RH we loved... I don't know if I'll regret it per se, but it's really bummed me out. I was so against a Fri night wedding but alas, here we are....

My entire wedding. If i had more money things would be a lot more differently. I am finding it hard because no one in my family supports anything i would like. Fh just doesn't care and its frustrating.
I don't mind as much as with flowers (center pieces) so that is not much of a compromise, Dj i really have't done too bad pricing wise so i can't complain about that but where it hurt the most is my photo/video. I know i am going to spend more when making that album because since i didn't get a lot of pics in my package its going to cost me more to add them in the end.
BIG compromise is my cake topper i am not allowed to purchase. Also all this DYI projects like cry packs (which i didn't care so much to have), rose cups, magically flower arrangements for the ceremony with tulle,etc.
Its frustrating to say the least.

i guess my date! originally i wanted 10-18-08 cuz i looove fall and that was a good # for us hahaha and would have picked it but i fell in love with my rh and didn't want our parents to dieee when they saw the reception hall bill. they offered to pay for their individual guests so we didn't have a strict rh 'budget' since the cost among 3 sets of parents and us made it A LOT easier to handle. BUT that being said i didnt want everyone to spend a ton of $ because our parents have given us a lot...so i wouldnt have picked this rh if they didn't give us such an amazing deal for nov!

I compromised my entire wedding the way I wanted it.
From wanting a beach wedding to having it in November b/c of prices..
And I do regret it.
But not like anyone wants to hear it from me anyway.. lol
