The past few days I've been trying to play this game and it won't load. Sometimes it just does't load, or sometimes I get an error that the disc isn't in and now the disc isn't formatted correctly. But I've been playing the game for a long time and never had a problem before and there have been no changes in my config, no viruses. Just these errors. Does that mean my DVD drive is dying?

Check another dvd or try that dvd in another drive. DVD's are very sensitive unlike cd's. DVD's with a finger printer, stratch, peice of hair on it, (anything) it will not read probally. Drives can go wrong too but it's easier to troubleshoot when you know the DVD is good it self.

I don't have another DVD Rom drive to test the game. It works on and off for some reason We'll see what happens. On my last computer the CD drive was the first thing to go
