My laptop just got a terrible virus and im not sure if its fixable...i may have to buy a new one
welllll looks like im going to need a new computer..my computer will not even boot up anymore

I have an HP laptop. Its pretty middle of the line as far as what came with it...but it works for me ! It hasn't given me any problems and have had it for about 3 months. it was only about 550 dollars after rebates at PC Richards.

3 dells. one desktop & 2 laptops. i would get a mac but my best friend has so many problems with hers that it turned me off.

it seems like a lot of people have dells, but i have had nothing but bad experiences with them...
i have an HP that I have had for almost two years and i love it...
no matter what kind you decide to get - i highly recommend backing all of your files up regularly...
also, if your old computer is not that old, you might be able to get away with just getting a new hard drive...its cheaper - so it might be worth looking into...

i had a compaq until i ran it over by accident and now am lookin to get the screen repaired since it still works...
i have an acer in the meantime... no complaints!

I have a mac....they don't have the problems with viruses that pcs do.
