Concert shoutout! Sooo cute!

So for those that don't know, FH is a music teacher (elementary, middle, high school band). Last night was a concert for his little ones...

During the last number (which is the only one the 4th graders get to play in) he had them get up and do this little dance during the encore while playing and the parents loved it and they got a standing ovation! Unfortunately he doesn't currently have any euphonium players so he had to pick one up and play while conducting and do the little dance with them!

Anyway, he bows and goes to walk off stage and the principal grabs him and drags him to the podium and says 'Wasn't that wonderful?! See Mr. Mordhorst is having the kids practice his dancing because he's getting married this summer!' and everyone oooohhhed and ahhhhhhed and applauded and I thought it was so cute. He turned bright red and got so embarrassed! He said what made matters worse was all of the kids saying 'Who are you marrying?' 'Why are you getting married' 'Am I invited to your wedding?' I LOVE his principal!

FH and I are both music teachers (he teaches HS orch, I teach elem orch in a different district), and he came to one of my concerts a couple of weeks ago. Some of my kids found out and wanted to find him in the audience!!! Kids are SO CUTE about weddings sometimes!!!

. . .FH's high school girls are very funny about him getting married, too. The couple of times I've been up there at concerts, I get SURROUNDED by a gaggle of 15-16-17 year old girls. 'OMG-you're-his-fiance!'

That was, indeed, a very cute story.

I've been to enough concerts and rehearsals (I help out with high school jazz sometimes) that the kids get so nosy so I know JUST what you mean but the elementary school kids are just too cute!!! WHY are you getting married? WHO are you marrying? Can I come to your wedding? He said he heard it from the teachers today at school too, lol!

My future brother in law, sister in law and father in law are all music teachers also ( all different districts) where do you all teach?
