Has anyone ever purchased concert tickets from ebay? How would you safe guard your purchse aside from checking the vendor feedback?
My sister and I are dyingggggggggg to go to the springsteen concert in July and there are a lot of people selling tickets on ebay. But I am nervous about paying so much money for something like this and possibly getting ripped off.
TIA!!

Do you know any?
I have seen online brokers but it's the same thing as buying off ebay.

If you pay using Pay Pal and your credit card, you have a chance of getting your money back if the person is a scammer.
I would suggest checking the person's feedback. If you buy from someone who has sold a lot of similar items for a long period of time, you should be fine.
I haven't bought concert tickets, but I've bought plenty else -- and I've sold tickets to sporting events.
Good luck!!!

Re: Concert Tickets from Ebay?
I have purchased alot from Ebay not concert ticket, though- sorry. What I suggest you do is get as much feedback on the seller as possible.
BTW I saw Springsteen in Oct and he was fantastic.

Looks like they are playing an entire week in Jersey and there are still seats left why not maybe just buy them now via ticketmaster?

Re: Concert Tickets from Ebay?
I've bought tickets from Ebay before, but every time, my heart is in my throat when I get to the event. Even though I only buy from people with good feedback, and who have been selling tickets for a while, I'm always afraid that the tickets are fake. So far, so good, though. If you'd rather buy from a ticket agent, try the phone book, or check the newspaper. A lot of times they advertise in the sports sections of the Daily News and Post.

Re: Concert Tickets from Ebay?
I have purchased concert tickets from ebay a few times. Really no big deal at all. Just make sure you check the seller's rating. Ebay is pretty strict so you shouldnt worry about buying tickets from their site.

I purchased Billy Joel/Elton John tickets last year on Ebay and didn't have a problem. Just be sure to check out the seller's rating. Good luck!

Erica, I think ebay is the new medium for retail anything. I dont thing there is one thing I could imagine wanting/needing that I couldn't find on ebay.
