So, in about a year or more the FH and I want to hopefully buy something in suffolk county. He works in NYC and I'm all the way out east, so we want something near a LIRR station and not too far east. Any ideas where they have condos or townhouses in suffolk that are near a train station?
TIA

Re: Condos/townhouses in suffolk county
We live in a condo in Ronkonkoma. It's right off the LIE and 5 min from the CI train station. Prices are in the $200,000 (ranges depending on how nice and how many bedrooms, etc). There's a really nice pool and it's gated from 9pm to 6am with security guard. We love it here!

Where in Huntington? Hmm East Northport sounds good, but perhaps pricey? THanks!!

The Highlands in Port Jeff Station, they are right around the corner. My uncle used to live in there and they are really nice!

Re: Condos/townhouses in suffolk county
I just bought into Woodgate Village in Holbrook... Its right in the middle of LIE and Sunrise (2 miles in each direction)... Been there for 2 months now and i think its wonderful! The only downside is that its all electric.... We have a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath townhouse... They also have 2 beds, 1.5 bath townhomes and 2 bed, 1 bath ranches.... I think theres a handful for sale right now
ETA: Ronkonkoma train station is very close... I looked at the condos in ronkonkoma (nob hill) and they are more apartment style... you have someone either below or above you and someone next to you...
