A charm bracelet is a great idea, then charms can be added for other occassions. Or a nice pearl bracelet or ring.

What about a box of peeps holding a cross all mushed in j/k. I did not know gifts were given for confirmation. Maybe get her something engraved, from things remembered.

When you go for your confirmation you need to choose a sponser (someone who has already dont confirmation) and I stand beside her while she receives this sacrament.

( i dont really remember much only that I got to choose a confirmation name.. that was my favorite part!! )

Suzanne: the meaning of having a sponsor is that Confirmation is your third part of becoming part of the church. The first part is when you were baptized and there your parents got to chose for you will would stand next to you (your godparents) and present you to the Lord. The second part is Communion and there you got to receive the Lord. The last part is Confirmation, the here you get to chose the person who you want to stand next to you and present you to the Bishop. That is why every person gets to chose a Sponsor for Confirmation. It is suppose to be a very important person in their life who will present them to the Bishop and help them along in continuing to follow their faith.

The Confirmation name is suppose to be a saints name who represents you. It is suppose to be a saint who you either are like or want to be like. It is suppose to be another person to watch over you and guide you along in your faith.
