Confused about booking and dates....

I recently decided to start subsitute teaching and go back for my Masters this spring. Now FH and I don't when to book! We were thinking Jan of 09, but now I am afraid it's not enough time and money will be tight if I go back to school. But then I am afriad to push it back to Jan 2010, I don't know why, I just am. We'll probably be in the same boat.

Do not worry everything will work out. You are going back to school for something you love and the someone you love understands thats more than most girls have. Think of the extra time as more time planning the best day of your life - there is always a positive way of looking at these things so good luck!

Everything will work out well!! trustme! My FH just finished his masters in elem ed.. he's subbing and working his full time job in the computer field.... i can tell you from first hand experience that it is indeed hard to get a job on long island in the teaching field.... but we still wanted to wait until FH was done with school...it worked out well for us, but we realize now.. it wouldn't have really mattered if we waited or not.... we still have to wait for him to get the full time position he wants... .so I say... get married WHEN THE TWO of YOU WANT to get married

Everything will work out.. just sit with FH and look at your finances for the year 2008 and see how much you can cut back. If it is meant to be in 09 it will happen.
Is there any way you can do it later in 09.. like before you start teaching again in September of 09??

dont worry , you arent alone! we still havent booked a rh yet. im so stressed. we are still trying to figure out our finances because we are paying for the wedding ourselves. i dont want to settle for less and i want to have a summer wedding at a nice place on the water. we arent sure if we will be able to afford an '09 wedding being that 09 really isnt that far away!.we may have to push it back to 2010. I really dont want to but we have to figure things out.

I understand, i'm actually thinkkin bout transferin to another school n pursuin somethin new so it will take a while 4 me to graduate. Talk iy over with your FH , n im sure u will come up with a solution.

I could have written that post myself, word for word!! I haven't booked either for the same reason, we're waiting until after the holidays to see exactly where we are..i'm also looking for a summer wedding on the water!

I'm in the same boat as you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with everything going on.. it seems to tack on another year is soo pointless.... i totally know how you're feeling.. i felt that 09 was just soooo us.. and to push it back to 2010.. it just doesn't feel right... everyone says at least you have your priorities straight, just like you do, but it doesn't feel like it to me...
