My dress is ivory with gold lace, pearls and some crystals. I thought I was going to do my colors all ivory, creams, whites with a bit of either lavender or rose. My mother went online and was showing me all these centerpieces and we came across one with aqua marine and other ones with bright colors. My fiance really liked the aqua marine cause our reception is on the water. Im torn between classic colors and bright summer colors. I like both looks for different reasons. I like the classic colors cause I want my wedding to be elegant and sophisticated but I like the bright colors for summer and cause they are fun! Help please lol

Why not do the ivory with aqua and light pink or purple? You'll still get classic colors, but also the fun, bright color.

I'm pretty much the worst with this. I have my heart set on lavender and then found red bracelets I really wanted to wear. I originally wanted many colors but it was gettign crazy. I went onto Martha Stewart Weddings and they have a section with color palettes. It was a HUGE help. I found lavender and red together and I would have NEVER done that. Seriously go on there and you might find something similar to what you are thinking about and it's easy to see how to put it together so it's not crazy.

Personally, I'm always for a pop of bright color. Since your base color is ivory, almost anything will work!

Im def a color girl so I vote for the pops of color. It would look so pretty in the summer and in your photos. Also, I think colorful can still be elegant. U can def combine the 2 color palettes if u cant decice. U can make ivory your base color and do pops of aqua and other color to give a pop. Esp in your flowers.

I agree with this. Keeping a clean ivory palette with pops of aqua would be really pretty. It can still look elegant.
