I need some opinions girls.... im having second thoughts about my wedding colors....
i originially had Brown, Gold, and Merlot (dark burgundy red) but now I'm thinking of Brown, Gold, and Pink
keep in mind my wedding is november! Please let me know what you think, and you dont have to sugar coat it! lol

i know peeps are going to say the merlot b/c of November BUT i'm gonig to be different here. Overall, the pink compliments the gold and brown and will freshen it up (i'm thinking light pink)......and the pink and gold is so freakin classic...think old hollywood!

i know thats why i started having second thought cuz the merlot does go with the season but i was thiking it might end up being too dark... the pink and gold also reminds me of marie antoinette theme!

I think merlot because of the season. You could find a deeper pink though and that might be good.

I love the brown gold and merlot!!
I think that brown-gold-pink combo has been done so many times before. Don't get me wrong, pink and brown go beautiful together, but merlot different. I think it gives a romantic and regal appearance. It also ties into your autumn wedding. (Plus you can use the beautiful gold linen package!)
This is JMO
ETA: Raspberry is also a beautiful color that will work well with brown and gold. (it's between pink and merlot)

well I literally just thought of it but as of right now I have a gold linen package and my RH, and I was going to use pink flowers and maybe incorporate some birch branches with a bronze-y candelabra with cascading crystals
girls with wear brown dresses maybe with gold and my MOH with pink or vice versa
I guess where im really stuck is how to incorporate the brown at the tables.... i thought i orginially had brown linens which made it sooo much easier but now im going with gold since they dont have those, any ideas???!!!

Those are really great ideas!! I think I will go in the same direction (hope you don't care if I'm a big idea stealer!!)...I wouldn't worry to much about incorporating brown at the tables if your girls will be in brown...ya know??

ITA. Dont worry about matching your girls to your tablescape. Maybe you can add some brown elements to your centerpeice. I doubt that any of your guests would say OMG Joanna's bridemaids dresses do not match her tables! Stick to your original plan- it sounds beautiful.

go with what looks best in your room.. take into consideration the color of the walls floor etc.
pink can be tricky. some girls go overboard with pink and it ends up looking like a sweet 16. ifur hall provides u with a weddign planner, ask her what colors look best for ur room. im sure they have seen that room at its best and worst.

Do the brown and pink with the gold. I am getting married in october and was originally going to use a wine color and pink but there are not very many options out there for that color combination...The brown and pink is everywhere and it will be much easier for you to find things/stick with the color theme.

I really like both. Personally, I think merlot is a little more elegant, but go for whichever you like best- they're great color combos!

i like the merlot for the season. i think the richness of the merlot and gold will be beautiful.
as for how to incorporate the brown -- maybe in your menu design or favors?
hmm although the merlot with those colors would be different i find it very dark. i think the pink will soften it up and be nice in november...i vote for pink
