Ok so is it soo terribly wrong of me to have checked out MANY photogs work online, on this site, inquire about their prices and packages and made the appt. with the one photographer that I really wanted and it all went well..........Is it HORRIBLE, OMG HOW COULD SHE of me to book with this guy without meeting with any others. I mean this is what I want
i dont even know if this post made sense i just anticipate me having to explain my reasoning 100 times about this

i don't think there's anything wrong with that at all. if you know what you want, then go for it! i only met with one photographer also, because I felt like I had done enough research to know I was getting a good deal and getting what I wanted.

i think you are saying that you only met with one photographer - and you booked them....
we did that - we loved angelica glass - we looked at LOTS of photographers work online - milton gill, blue daisy, something in blue (to name a few) but we just kept going back to angelica....so we met her, loved her and booked her....

ok thanks girls its nice to know im not alone on this one. I can just invision people going 'you only met with one photographer????!!!!!' I just dont want to deal with it lol

You only met one, but you looked into many. All you have to say is you booked the photographer you liked best based on the many samples you saw.
And if anyone gives you an 'OMG' moment, go bridezilla and tell them it's your wedding and butt out.

i wouldn't worry about it... actually most people probably would think you were crazy if you made appts with like 5 photographers.... because times have changed
after much research on here and websites I only met with 1 photographer and booked them on the spot (Duet)

if you are referring to George from right angle, YOU MADE THE RIGHT DECISION...check out my epics in my album. he is so amazing...we met with 9 photographers and george made us feel the most comfortable!!!!

Luckily, we are able to research online and not have to constantly schedule in appointments that turn out to be fruitless! Hey, one thing I've learned so far in my planning is to go with your gut! If your gut said this is the one, and when you met with he/she they were still it, then you have made the right decision, regardless of what anyone else might say to you!

i dont see the big deal to be honest.
i asked for info from another photog or two but ended up booking with the one i really liked from the start. i didn't even meet with any, not even the one i booked with since im OOT. i was def confident in her work, didn't need to meet.
its smart to weight your options. don't feel bad for who you booked with!

I looked at a lot of photographers online but only went and met with one and booked on the spot. I knew I loved their work and didn't want to waste time looking at other photographers. I think the vendors appreciate it actually. I did the same with my videographer.

All of my vendors were the first & only ones i met with...i have a friend in the wedding business & she steered me toward the kinds i wanted...made life easy!

I researched just about 100s b/c I think that the photo is the most important part... we only MET with 2...the 1st we did loove...but the 2nd, which we booked with at that first app. was the ONE. Go with what YOU want... don't care about everyone else...

same here.. i loved our first photo but way way too expensive... the second one we met with was able to give us all the same things for almost half the price...which made me love them even more !!!

I went with the first and only one I met with. I looked at portfolios and reviews online but I knew exactly who I wanted from the second I saw his work. The price was all I needed to hear and I was sold before I walked through the door! Don't be confused and don't second guess yourself!

we booked George also he is awesome and we only met with him because once I saw his work I was in love and FH loved him also so we booked right away

all of my vendors so far were booked without seeing anyone else, i did my research on here and by callling for quotes. i also booked the fox hollow without going to the other halls bc i knew what i wanted. so dont worry!
