Sooooo I've been hearing that many post offices give different amounts for postage. Many girls have had to go to 3 places.
Shouldnt it just matter from the post office you are sending your mail out from?
I have T essa's 5.75' square invitations. Anyone know how much postage they've paid for these invitations just so that I know a ballpark amount. Im going to need to order stamps, but I dont have my invitations yet.... I dont know what to do I know I have to go to the post office, but its cutting it close to wait.... any advice would be helpful!!! TIA!

i went again today (4th post office in floral park ) and the guy was so nice he called someone to confirm and because my invite is 6.5 by 6.5 i have to pay $1.05

no sorry its not a pocketfold or from her its a regular invite with all the extras inside but im paying a lot because of the size of the envelope...basically you just have to wait and bring it to the post office. i got my stamps today too and i will stamp my invites soon so dont freak out you can do it all in 1 day

Does the post office normally have pretty wedding stamps? Or do those normally have to be ordered? Like the rings and the wedding cake ones.

If you have a way of weighing your invite you should weigh it then go to the usps.com website and go to where it says calculate postage and there you can choose what type of envelope you have and enter the weight of the invite and they give you the postage rate.

i went to just one post office, i went first to make sure they had them and they told me they had very few left and that they would order them for me and will be in the next day. They were in the next day and i had told them i would need it for a bit over 200 invites and needed more than one on each invite.

i wanted to go to 2 from the beginning to double check but they told me 2 different prices so i ended up going to more because i didnt want the invites returning

I had those, the lady wasnt even sure , first she said $.80 , but then thought about it and said i better put 1.00 just in case

Mine came out to $1.34....The lady said that it is possible I could have put $.79 on them but depending on how much the letter bends it would be more and a post office might say its not enough and send it back to me... At that point I said eff it.. I will put more postage because I don't want to run the risk of getting them all kicked back to me.
