I found the dress I love and tried in on today at Kleinfeld's. It was $3600 from them and netbride is offering it for $2700. When I told the buyer at Kleinfelds the netbride quote she scolded me and told me it is probably not authentic. Has anyone ordered through them? I'm thrilled to safe almost $1K but scared. How do they ship it? Is it ready to wear or will it be wrinkled from shipping? Thanks ladies!

Re: Considering ordering my gown from Netbride
Yes, a few girls on here have ordered from them. Try doing a search...I definitely think it's legit, but you do have to find someone for alterations. Another option is to try Burtons or RK Bridal since they have price matching policies. Good luck!

Thanks. I've read the reviews and that does seem to be the only problem - good thing is that according to the Lazaro size chart, I am an exact size 6. So, not to get my hope's up, but I'm thinking alterations will not be an issue. Do you know if Burtons and RK carry Lazaro?

Netbride gets the gowns directly from the manufacturer so, yes, they are definitely authentic.

I ordered my dress from Bridesave. Yes we all get scared when we think of it but I was VERY happy with my order.
The dress arrived in a box and I had a mermaid dress (wasn't big) so they folded my dress 3 times, when I took it out it wasn't wrinkled really at all, just like every other dress it needed to be steamed a little.
If netbride is anything like bridesave, I say you have nothing to worry about

As per the lazarobridal.com site, these are their authorized sellers Stores but it can't hurt to call and ask. Good luck!

I got my gown from them and it was perfect. For being shipped, it really looked great. You will definately need it to be pressed and altered somewhere else but there are plenty of options out there. Of course the woman at Kleinfeilds told you that, she doesn't want to lose the sale. I say do it!!! That's a lot of money to use somewhere else.

I dont understand how that can be, because if you go onto Maggie Sottero's site, they warn you about anyone selling their dresses online, and how it is not authorized... and they do sell maggie dresses on both of those websites...

They are doing it to protect the 'high end' bridal salons from competition. My dress differed so much in price from one of those 'high end' salons and Burton's (who was only $20 more than netbride).

Well from my understanding, these online salons give you a discount because they are not giving you personal attention and they are also not charging you for alterations. You should check this website to learn more about this process, if you are interested.
when i bought my dress from phyllis at gownfind, i asked her why alot of designer's websites say not to buy dresses online. she told me that since alot of brides are now purchasing their dresses from deeply discounted retailers, many of the boutique stores have complained to the designers. in an effort to placate these boutiques, the designers place these 'unauthorized retailer' warning messages on their sites. but she assured me that all of the dresses that she sells are 100% authentic.

netbride is great. their dresses certainly are authentic. they are able to have really great prices b/c they don't have the overhead of the traditional bridal shop.

Re: Considering ordering my gown from Netbride
Ok, I've now checked with Burton's. Netbride is $2722 including tax. Burton's is $2950 (I don't know if that includes tax). What would you do - get it through netbride or Burton's on LI? Thanks!

Does Netbride charge shipping?

Re: Considering ordering my gown from Netbride
Netbride charges shipping but doesn't charge Tax. I'm assuming Burton's on LI would charge tax, so the dress would be much more than the base price.
