We are getting married at the reception hall. I am constantly feeling like we wont have enough time to take pictures before. Our ceremony time is at 11:30 but they said to put 11 am on the invitations. We can arrive at 9 am to start taking pictures and i really don't want to miss my cocktail hour and I dont want my family to have to either.
the best thing to do is take the extra time before your wedding to speak to your photog to let them know what pictures u want. be resonable. if you are going to try to take a million pictures in a short amount of time it might not work out. be set on taking less pictures that will come out better since no one is being rushed. also do them in shifts. like first do u & FH. they do the ones with the parents & then do the bridal party last. if u have everyone waiting around they are going to stress you out.
I have the similar situation.....church wedding at 10:45 and cocktail hour at 12:30. It only leaves me an hour to take pictures
IMO that is more than enough time in between to take pictures. just let your photog know if you have any 'must take' pictures so you can ensure you get those..
dont stress it!! There will be time to take pictures!! Make sure to give your photog a must-take list and go from there.
