Re: contacts

I've been wearing contacts for 12 years and love them. FH just started wearing contacts last month and has adjusted well to them

Re: contacts

Ive been wearing contacts since I was 12 years old! The first few days getting them in was tricky, but after awhile you can get them in and out w/o even using a mirror! Definitely get a trial pair to see how you like them. I suggest the disposable ones, they are not as expensive as they used to be and so much more convenient.

Im trying to convince DH to get them, but he also doesnt like the idea of putting something in his eye.

I've been wearing contacts for 10+ years. FH hates wearing glasses and is obsessed with the idea of getting contacts before the wedding. If you're really worried about it, you can go when there is a special on disposable lenses and get the eye test and try them out. You get to practice putting them in and taking them out at the store, so you know how to do it at home. Chances are once you get used to the idea you'll love them. My mother hates putting her finger in her eye and has been a happy contact wearer for probably 35 years.

I want to get them too for the big day but I panic whenever something goes near my eye. When they do the air test at the Dr I blink! I don't know if I'm a good candidate.

Re: contacts

I just got contact 6 months ago for the 1st time and Im 29. I think I was just as nervous. I was at a point that the glasses needed to be worn more often and I was being lazy and losing them constanty. I have to say its been a great decision and I can SEE everything now!
It takes getting used to. You will be fine and then love them.
