I don't know if this has been asked recently (if so I can't find it)....What things did you make sure were included in your contract? I know some people include that they want a chair for each person at cocktail hour etc... thanks

My cake is included with the RH so I made sure I put in contract that I wanted four tiers any shape instead of the standard three tiers and I also made them throw in a martini bar lol

We had them change out one of the beer selections for another and add a bottle beer too. Also make sure if they offer you a discount on price per plate or anything thrown in for free that it is in the contract also.

We also got 2 extra beers. If you have a sibling that has gotten married and you use anything the same ask if they will honor their contract. My sister got married 2 years ago and every vender honored her contract for me.

anything you want!!! extra food choices, drink choices, room/ceremony decor, extra dessert choices like chocolate fountain, wedding cake, groom's cake, shape/size of tables if you have a choice, linens/flatware/glassware if there's a choice.. i made sure mine wrote down ANYTHING that she mentioned that wasn't already in writing in their papers
also, see if you can pay in cash to absorb the tax!

Did anyone put in their contract something about renovations? Temperature (I went to a wedding last month..it was so hot in the room that it ruined the wedding).

Make sure they write any EXTRAS that they offered you on the contract--otherwise you won't be seeing those promises fulfilled !

FF goes over everything with you, writes the contract and sends it to you on the mail. You have time to review and send back.

they included everything that was standard automatically and we made sure that any extras we got were in writing, as well :)
